Student comments: We have a very fine cricket ground but we cant play on it, we cant walk on the lawns. Hostel facilities are good, only mess facility is not so good.
There is another college run by the same management called Sinhgad Institute of Technology, established 2004 and based in Lonavla. SIT offers 60 seats each in Computer Engineering, IT and Mechanical and 120 in Electronics and Telecommunication. The facilities are good and the campus huge. However it is a second choice to the main branch i.e. Sinhgad COE
Sinhgad Academy of Engineering, Kondhwa is another sister concern started in 2005-6 with intake of 240 students. It conducts four years degree courses in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, Electronics and Telecommunication
Sinhgad Technical society also runs the Smt Kashibai Navale College of Engineering (originally a women’s college, now co-ed). Set up in 2000-2001, it conducts degree courses in four branches IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication and Mechanical Engineering
All these are options for those who do not get into the main branch
