Community and public service is a working reality on the HKBKGI campus. The college regularly organizes Charity day and fund raisers to help support the underprivileged sections of the society. HKBKGI has been recognized for its efforts in providing aid during difficult times such as the Kargil war, the tsunami etc. It has consistently helped bring relief to victims and their families. The institute also has an ambulance which is utilized for emergencies
